The life of Cristiano Ronaldo
brief summary on Cristiano Ronaldo's life
Making tons of euros a week, living in the best of the best mansions, owning a plethora of luxury items which we can only dream of having and most importantly, being recognized as the best footballer in the history, this is just a few things in the life of Cristiano Ronaldo.
20 years back, he could only think of owning all of this. Belonging to an average family, the galactico used to share a room with his siblings, it was at the age of 14 when his fortunes began to change, it was when his mother urged him to take a career in football. From there on consistent hardwork coupled with the natural talent his feet possessed helped him to be noticed and ultimately signed by the famed Portugese club Sporting CP. He became the only player ever to play for Sporting's under-16, under-17, under-18, B-team, and the first team, all within one season.
In 2003, when Sporting went on to defeat Manchester united in the inaugral match in the former's stadium, it was there that Cristiano Ronaldo was first noticed by Sir Alex Ferguson, the manager of Manchester United. Fast forward few months and Ronaldo was signed for a fee in the region of €15 million. From there on he cruised in the six seasons spent at Manchester United as a left winger. These seasons were the ultimate turning point in his decorated life. He won the premier league thrice while at united along with the prized Champions league trophy, where he scored the only goal for united. In his career with the English soccer powerhouse, he scored 117 goals along with fantabulous perfomances which helped him to get international fame and also the Ballon D'or ( best footballer of the year) but most notably, the interest of Real Madrid CF. The worlds most valuable club were soon enquiring about him and in the summer of 2009, ronaldo found himself in the RM kit, but only after Real paid a world record fee of that time (£80m).
With Real madrid, CR7 has become the worlds most famous footballer, one of the very few people to score 300+ goals with the spanish outfit and also the second person to win 3 Ballon D'or in his career ( the first being Lionel messi with 4 ). Today only due to his untiring hardwork Ronaldo has probably become the best footballer in history and not only that, the wealth he has amassed in his 13 year professional career is the icing on the cake. But he owes all of this to his parents who persuaded him to join the sport, his remarkable hard work and last but not the least his natural talent.
